2009年5月13-14日，来自北卡罗来纳大学并任教于四川大学的富布赖特教授Glenn George来我院讲学。George教授作了题为（1）Legal Protections for Disadvantaged Groups in the U.S.”，（2）“Principles and Development of Employment Discrimination Law in the U.S.”的两场讲座，深受学生欢迎。
